How Does It All Work?
Digital Transcribing.
Transcribe Now are able to transcribe most types of files including DVD, wav, wma, mp3, mp4, and dss.
Either email or telephone us for a quote, giving as much information as you can about the work you need transcribed and the time scale required. We will then agree layout and pricing. For correspondence, we will need a template of your layout so that we can format the documents correctly to fit according to style.

Digital recordings are emailed directly to us. They will be transcribed into a standard Microsoft Word document ready for you to print and in the format previously agreed with you.
When transcription is complete the finished document will be emailed back to you and can be password protected for additional security.
Remember all work undertaken will remain strictly confidential between the client and Transcribe Now. We are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement if required.
Once satisfied that all work is received and transcribed according to the pre-agreed requirements, Transcribe Now will invoice you for work done.

Our aim is to provide a simple pricing structure that is affordable.
Prices charged are on a per transcribed hour basis.
The industry standard to transcribe a good quality clear recording is 1 hour for every 15 minutes recorded time.
Our standard hourly transcription rate is £12 per transcribed hour.
Depending on the complexity of the transcription and for focus groups etc., with two or more people, the rate will increase to £15 per transcribed hour.
An additional charge may also be incurred for same day transcription, depending on the volume of transcription required and the time scale.
All prices quoted are not liable to VAT.

Copy Typing.
We can copy type all hand-written documents in the format required by the client.
Prices will be charged at a rate per 1,000 words of £10 for straightforward text and minimal formatting.
More complex formatting with tables and figures will incur an extra charge of £12 per 1,000 words.
